New Benefits Tax Rules For Employers with Employees in Saskatchewan

12 Apr New Benefits Tax Rules For Employers with Employees in Saskatchewan

On February 26, 2018, the province of Saskatchewan announced that Provincial Sales Tax (PST) no longer applies to individual and group life, health, disability, accident and sickness insurance. This exemption extends retroactively to August 1, 2017.

If you have employees located in Saskatchewan, a refund on the tax remitted should be available within the next few months.
